Grappig, behalve sommige details vind ik het concept niet eens zo heel erg ouderwets overkomen. Maar dat heb ik wel vaker met concept-auto’s uit die periode…

The Stinger used a special 3.0-liter double overhead-cam version of Pontiac’s famed Super Duty four-cylinder race engine, which was based on the ubiquitous Iron Duke/Tech 4 engine family.
In normally aspirated form, it produced an understressed 170 hp at 6,500 rpm and was hooked to a three-speed automatic transaxle and AWD drivetrain sourced from the Pontiac 6000 STE.
